The Yue Song martial arts epic The Bodyguard will release across China July 15. Following a fantastic opening night last night in Beijing, the cast and crew and preparing to tour China in the coming weeks as they continue to promote the film.
Yue Song, the star, director, producer, and editor of the film is a young, rising star. His first film, King of the Streets, was very well received internationally and can be seen on Netflix.
The Bodyguard has international cinematic releases scheduled, with more information to follow.
The film world premiered at BAFICI this April, followed by an Asian premiere at Shang Hai International Film Festival, North American premiere at New York Asian Film Festival, and will be playing at Fantasia and Asian Film Festival of Dallas this summer!

Following the roaring crowds at New York Asian Film Festival, where Yue Song won the Daniel E. Craft Award for Excellence in Action Cinema, The Bodyguard will play at the Asian Film Festival of Dallas on the day following it's Chinese release. The film will also play again on July 19.
