KURMANJAN DATKA QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAINS PLAYING AT FRIBOURG INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Kurmanjan Datka, Queen of the Mountains is playing at the Fribourg International Film Festival in their focus on women this year. A beautiful film shot in Kyrgyzstan, displaying the diplomatic feats of Kurmanjan Datka in the late nineteenth century was the country's submission to the academy awards in 2014.
